ICSC was founded in 2000 by CEO and strategic communications specialist, Ilse Cilliers. Ilse obtained her Master's Degree in Journalism from Stellenbosch University, where she completed a thesis focusing on the role of management in effective communication. Before, during and after her studies she gained valuable experience in what makes organisations tick and the crucial role communication plays in this process. By completing various successful communication projects for some of the biggest organisations in South Africa, Ilse has identified a gap in the market and set out to fill that gap with her knowledge, enthusiasm and hard work.

Today, ICSC comprises a dedicated team of permanent and contract staff who will ensure that your project is perfect from start to finish.

In 2006 Ilse won the SakeBurger and Old Mutual's Entrepreneur of the Year competition based on her company's creativity, sound financial status, job creation, its reputation in the marketplace, and its unique one-stop service offering. ICSC was also commended for providing corporate, as well as small to medium businesses with excellent communication resources, as well as a complete one-stop service for small businesses.
